Our Mission and History 

 Welcome to The Downtown Parkside Royal Poinciana Civic Association (DPRPCA). We are a 501(c)(4) dues-paying organization dedicated to serving the vibrant neighborhoods surrounding the downtown district of Hollywood, Florida.
We proudly represent a diverse mix of single-family homeowners, multi-family residents, renters, seasonal snowbirds, and local businesses.

Our Mission
The DPRPCA gives a voice back to our residents. We focus on: Keeping You Informed: Sharing the latest municipal updates, civic happenings, and neighborhood developments. Preserving Character: Safeguarding the unique culture, historic charm, and distinct personality that make our neighborhood special.

Resident Support & Advocacy
Serving as a direct resource to help neighbors navigate local issues, resolve community concerns, and interface with city leadership.

Community Engagement
Active member of the Hollywood Council of Civic Associations and the Hollywood Partnership for Engaged Neighborhoods.

Our History
What started as a small, grassroots operation in 2018 has grown into a vital civic voice. Recognizing a critical need for local advocacy, our president, Lynn Smith, built this association from scratch with the help of dedicated neighbors. Today, she continues to lead our community as we work together to build a stronger, safer, and more connected neighborhood.
